Cliche

This is so cliché
I can't believe it's true
It must be a dream
But I'm so happy right now
You make me so happy.

Where did all this come from?
What did I do to deserve this?
This complete and utter happiness?
I can't stop smiling.

Life is too good to me
It's supposed to be unfair
But here you are
Right in my arms
And it is indescribable.

There it is again, that feeling
That tight knot in my chest
It's suddenly difficult to breathe
"I love you."

I cry and you cry
You smile and I smile
And it's all so damn cliché.
